Privacy Policy
Last updated:
1. Scope
This policy describes personal information processed through Attune accounts, character interactions and service use. Attune offers fictional AI character interactions for adults; characters are not real-world dating partners.
2. Information we process
This includes sign-in identity, email, name, avatar, and the age, city, interests and relationship preferences you provide; messages, uploads, likes, skips, relationship state, group membership and interaction history; and device/browser information, IP addresses, session identifiers, usage events and error logs. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials or information about others that you are not entitled to share.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use this information for authentication, account management, character discovery, generating replies, maintaining conversation context and relationship state, group conversations, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. Where applicable, processing relies on providing the agreed service, your consent, legitimate security and operational interests, or legal obligations. Consent must be obtained where required.
4. AI processing and conversation boundaries
To generate replies, relevant messages, character instructions and necessary profile information are sent to AI providers. The current implementation connects to model services through OpenRouter. Group replies use group context and public character instructions; joining a group does not automatically publish private chats into it. Servers process conversation content; this service does not promise end-to-end encryption. AI conversations are not confidential professional consultations.
5. Providers and disclosure
Hosting, storage, authentication, AI inference and enabled analytics services may process information needed for their functions. Providers may operate outside your region; processing depends on the services and agreements used. Disclosure may also be necessary for legal requirements, security incidents or protecting legal rights. Model-provider retention and training terms vary; do not assume that every provider retains no inputs.
6. Cookies and local storage
Cookies and local storage maintain authentication, language, preferences and some drafts or retry state. The application also integrates usage analytics and attribution; activation depends on deployment and consent settings. Clearing browser storage may sign you out and remove local drafts, but does not delete server records.
7. Retention, security and deletion
Information is retained as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. Signing out, removing a contact or ending a relationship does not delete all history. Deletion can involve backups and legally retained records; immediate removal of every copy is not guaranteed. Access controls and other measures protect information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
You can edit your profile, limit what you share and stop using the service. Depending on applicable law, rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent and complaints to a regulator. Withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing. To exercise these rights or ask a privacy question, contact us using the email below. Operator identity details remain to be provided.
9. Age and updates
Attune is for users who are at least 18 and have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction. Do not create accounts for minors. Material policy changes should be communicated through an in-product notice or another appropriate channel before taking effect.
